To kick off our local farm feature segment we wanted to start with a true Ontario family farm. Pfenning’s Organic Vegetable Farm is a certified organic farm, owned and operated by the Pfenning family. The home farm is located about 1.5 hours west of Toronto in New Hamburg (within the Waterloo region).

The first week of June marks Local Food Week in Ontario. It feels important now more than ever to celebrate and support local food. Check out some of the ways we are supporting our local farmers and how you can take part in Local Food week.
